In the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Airports Authority of Jamaica (AAJ) and the management and stakeholders of Jamaica’s airports have taken a number of preventative and proactive measures to protect their passengers and workers. The international gateways to Jamaica – Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA), Sangster International Airport (SIA), and the Ian Fleming International Airport (IFIA) continue to work closely with and facilitate on site activities of the Ministry of Health & Wellness (MoHW) to alleviate the spread of the virus. The competition is fully sponsored and organized by the Airports Authority of Jamaica (AAJ). There are numerous benefits to be derived from exposing students to the visual arts. They learn to develop creative and flexible forms of thinking and acquire mental habits that they are not taught in other classes including envisioning, innovating and reflecting. Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico wins bid for Norman Manley International Airport Public Private Partnership

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico S.A.B De C.V. (GAP), a Mexican company with 50-year concessions to operate, maintain and develop twelve international airports in the Pacific and Central regions of Mexico, has emerged the provisional Preferred Bidder for the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) Public Private Partnership. The decision follows the evaluation process and subsequent approval by Cabinet on September 3, 2018 after public opening of three bid submissions received at the offices of the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) on July 20, 2018.
